I was on a train from Shanghai to Beijing, planning to spend a week here and take a flight to South Korea. Instead, I went to Hong Kong to get a 6 month visa and I rented out a flat here in Beijing. Oh, well :)

The last bits of my one month stay in Shanghai before I went to Beijing.

I could not resist going to see the fourth tallest building in the world even though I heard that the view is better (and cheaper) from a little bit lower altitudes') That would be the Shanghai World Financial Center which looks like a bottle opener. 494.3 meters and 101 floors.
